There are JavaScript versions out their that visually do the same thing, however search engines do not process Java code and therefore do not parse the articles. As usual, the script is template based, will the configuration settings in the single file. No database is required, and it supports PHP version 4.01 . By default, all articles are shown regardless if they have an associated image. Beyond installing the script, the only thing you need is an account with Content Infusion. The account is free, and the setup is immediate. By using the script, you are also bound to the Content Infusion agreement when you sign up.
Features:
- You control what category or categories of articles to display. Display only relevant articles on your site. The script defaults to showing all categories in the menu, but this can easily be customized in the configuration file.
- Display Royalty Free continually refreshed articles on your web site. New articles are continually being displayed and refreshed without you having to lift a finger.
- With most articles, a relevant image is displayed along side the article. This gives the article a polished look and feel, providing your visitors with confidence and trust in your site.
- All pages are optimized to provide search engines what they need to index the article's content. The script uses PHP and XML to display content. JavaScript is NOT used because search engines need to read the content in your HTML source.
- Only PHP is required. A MySQL database is NOT required. The content is pulled via an XML feed from the content provider (Content Infusion).
- Fully template driven. The HTML templates are separate from the PHP code allowing you to completely customize your site without getting your hands dirty in the PHP coding.
